A Propeller flowmeter built like no other

McPropeller flowmeters use turbine technology to measure both flow rate and volume. The propeller is located in the flow stream and rotates as the flow passes through it. A sensor located on the outside of the pipe picks up the rotation of the turbine. Each pulse of the turbine is equal to a certain volume of the fluid. Flow rate is calculated by measuring the frequency of the pulse. Total volume is calculated by counting the number of pulses.

The register incorporates an instantaneous flow rate indicator and straight-reading totalizer. The flowrate and total flow may be indicated in virtually any unit of measurement such as U.S. Gallons or Liters.

(1) Long-lasting Stainless Steel Ball Bearings.
Factory lubricated and protected from flow stream. Assure the impeller's free rotation.
(2) Magnetic Coupling System.
Isolates register and drive system from flow and allows unrestricted impeller movement.
(3) Instantaneous Flowrate Indicator and Totalizer.
Housed in a Die-Cast Aluminum Register Canopy.
(4) Removable Top-Plate Assembly.
Available on many models for easy access during field service or replacement.
(5) Wide Variety of End Fittings.
Including threaded, grooved-end, flanged, and weld-on.
(6) Heavy Gauge Stainless Steel Support.
Resists corrosion.
(7) Flexible Cable Drive.
Simple and durable, protected by self-lubricating cable guide.
(8) Corrosion-Resistant Impeller.
Made of durable polymer material, factory calibrated to retain accuracy.
(9) Straightening Vanes.
For optimum flow profiles.
