High Pressure NPT Bulls-Eye — Up to 3000 PSI

ASME 300, 600, 900, and 1500 Class threaded sight flow indicators for high-pressure service. Models: S-100HP (flapper), S-100HP-NF (plain), S-200HP (drip), S-300HP (rotary), S-400HP (flutter), S-100HP-FLTR. Pressure suffix: -600, -1000, -2000, -3000.

High-Pressure Design — Model Numbering

Model numbers include a pressure suffix indicating the maximum working pressure: -600, -1000, -2000, or -3000 PSI. For example, S-100HP-600 is a flapper model rated 600 PSI; S-300HP-3000 is a rotary model rated 3000 PSI. All 2000 and 3000 PSI units include a single window holder as a standard feature — a Jacoby Tarbox exclusive that protects the glass during the torquing sequence. All units are hydrotested at 1.5 times MWP prior to shipment.

Employs a 316SS hinged weighted flapper to indicate flow of media. The velocity of the flow is indicated by the position of the flapper. Uni-directional, these units are optimal for horizontal or vertically upward flows.

Low, intermittent flows are easily detected with this uni-directional style in the horizontal or vertically downwards direction. The drip tube forces the process to collect on the lower lip of the 316SS tube, allowing it to visibly drip downward.

The TFE rotor allows for easy bi-directional, multi-orientational flow direction. The speed of the rotor indicates the relative velocity of the media. Ideal for opaque liquids or heavy gases for an easily contrasting detection at far viewing distances.

Flows are easily detected with this style indicator in any direction. The flow propels the TFE ball around in a random pattern inside the body and in plain view for positive identification. Ideal for liquids and gases.

The TFE flutter allows for easy uni-directional indication of low flowing gases and liquids. The thin, ribbon type flutter curls into the pipeline, vibrating at the slightest presence of gas or liquid movement. The flow of the media is indicated by the intensity of the fluttering against the window.

Patented Window Holder — Standard on 2000 & 3000 PSI Units

All 2000 and 3000 PSI units include Jacoby Tarbox's patented single window holder as a standard feature. The window holder protects the borosilicate glass during the torquing sequence, preventing cracking or fracture from uneven bolt loading. This exclusive design feature is not available from other manufacturers and is a key reason Jacoby Tarbox high-pressure units are specified for critical service. Cross-bolted retainers are used on all pressure ratings.
