The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is already a key technology for generating electricity from decentralized heat sources, even at low temperatures. In combination with the use of waste heat or renewable heat sources, ORC solutions generate CO₂-free electricity through thermal recovery. This enables companies to profitably utilize unused thermal energy within a temperature range of 90–600°C, lower their electricity costs, produce useful heat, improve their carbon footprint, and strengthen their competitiveness.
