Sight Glasses

Mounted directly into tanks, boilers, or pipelines, circular sight glasses provide real-time visual access to process conditions. Available in weld pad, weld neck (NW-BW), flanged (NW-FT), and threaded (NW-RF) styles. Borosilicate or soda lime glass; carbon steel, 304/316 SS, or custom alloys.

Designed for easy sampling, cleaning, and maintenance access without tools. The QSG Series provides quick access to process streams; the LQSG Series adds integrated lighting for enhanced visibility in dark or low-light environments.

Leak-tight, tool-less assembly using standard sanitary clamping prevents contamination in food, dairy, and pharmaceutical processes. BoroAlloy™ single-piece glass/metal alloy units are approved for CIP and SIP. SVTC Series offers a full range of sanitary clamp sight glasses.

For applications requiring a wider field of view or particular vessel geometry. RS Series covers standard rectangular configurations; RS-OB Series provides offset bolt patterns for special flange arrangements. Available in carbon steel and stainless steel.

Custom-fit to curved or cylindrical vessels and pipes where flat sight glasses cannot seal properly. Manufactured to match the exact radius of the vessel wall, ensuring a leak-tight fit and unobstructed viewing window.

Two-glass construction provides an extra layer of protection against stress concentration, thermal shock, corrosion, and mechanical damage. Ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature, or highly corrosive service where single-glass failure is not acceptable.

Mechanical wipers keep sight glass windows clear of condensation, coatings, and deposits for continuous visibility. Type I (Low Pressure) suits standard process vessels; Type II (High Pressure) is rated for demanding high-pressure applications.
