What is a 3-Way Transfer Valve?

A 3-way transfer valve allows fluid to be transferred from one pipe to two other pipes. It has three ports and two switching positions, directing fluid from one port to another or shutting off completely. The HYCOA JR-33 3-way transfer valve is engineered for critical fluid distribution in industrial piping systems — power generation, turbine lube oil systems, and duplex filter/cooler circuits.

The patented resilient sealing shoe guarantees true zero leakage across all operating conditions, eliminating internal bypass and cross-port leakage. The retracting actuator provides zero frictional drag on change-over — smooth, predictable valve operation every time. Positive mechanical lockdown holds the seal firmly in place with no springs required.

3-way transfer valves are also used to isolate and drain sections of the piping system, prevent backflow, and protect against overpressure. Available in manual, automated, or combination configurations. The HYCOA "Will Fit" system provides drop-in replacements for competitive valves with no piping modifications required.
