Jacoby Tarbox NPT 150# ANSI rated threaded bulls-eye sight flow indicator

NPT 150# ANSI Rated — Threaded Bulls-Eye

Full ANSI 150 Class code-rated threaded sight flow indicators. Five indicator styles: flapper (100-SA), plain (100-SA NF), drip (200-SA), rotary (300-SA), flutter (100-SA-FLTR). FNPT connections per ANSI B2.1. All units hydrotested at 1.5× rated pressure.

The NPT 150# ANSI Rated series provides full ANSI 150 Class pressure-temperature compliance for installations requiring code-rated construction. Engineered per ASME B31.1 & B31.3 Power & Chemical Piping Codes with FNPT connections per ANSI B2.1. Available in five indicator types — flapper (100-SA), plain (100-SA NF), drip (200-SA), rotary (300-SA), and flutter (100-SA-FLTR) — with independently threaded retainers machined from corrosion resistant alloys. Stainless steel engraved identification faceplate standard. All units hydrotested at 1-1/2 times rated pressure.

Available Models

Model 100-SAFlapper Type

Employs a 316SS hinged wheel weighted flapper to indicate flow media. The velocity of the flow is indicated by the position of the flapper. Uni-directional, these units are optimal for horizontal or vertically upward flows. Full ANSI 150# pressure-temperature rating.

Sizes

1/8" – 2" FNPT

Pressure

150 Full ANSI Class (285 PSI @ -20 to 100°F, Carbon Steel)

Temperature

Body

Carbon Steel standard; 316 SS, Bronze, Iron available

Seal

Neoprene standard; Buna-N, Viton, PTFE available

Model 100-SA(NF)Plain Type

Bi-directional and may be placed in any orientation. Used primarily in processes where spot indication is desired to detect presence of media, or to inspect color, clarity, turbidity, or other critical characteristics.

Model 200-SADrip Type

Low, intermittent flows are easily detected with this uni-directional style in the horizontal or vertically downwards direction. The drip tube forces the process to collect on the lower lip of the 316SS tube, allowing it to visibly drip downward.

Model 300-SARotary Type

The TFE rotor allows for easy bi-directional, multi-orientational flow direction. The speed of the rotor indicates the relative velocity of the media. Ideal for opaque liquids or heavy gases for an easily contrasting detection at far viewing distances.

Model 100-SA-FLTRFlutter Type

The TFE flutter allows for easy uni-directional indication of low flowing gases and liquids. The thin ribbon type flutter curls into the pipeline, vibrating at the slightest presence of gas or liquid movement. The flow of the media is indicated by the intensity of the fluttering against the window.
