 The
model 602 and 60' are integral non-contact ultrasonic level transmitters
providing process measurement of linear level changes utilizing
proven time of flight technology. These units feature a low compact
profile design comprised of an integral control unit transducer.
The electronics are housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure and include
as standard a 4 digit LCD and a 4-20 mA output.
The function of the control electronics is to precisely measure
the time period between the transmitted echo pulse and the reflected
echo pulse to determine the process level. A series of digital
software algorithms fine tune the returned echo to ensure the
correct return echo pulse is monitored.
The 602 and 603 transmitters are easily mounted above the process
using the 2" NPT process connection. The transducer construction
is UPVC or PTFE as specified.
Setup is simplified by the menu driven software and five keypads
used for configuration of the required span, bottom reference
distance, and the adjustable dampening feature. Loss of echo
alarm is field selectable - driving 4mA. 20mA. or hold last value.
