Jerguson JMS100 Ultrasonic Gap Liquid Level Switch

The Jerguson Model JMS-100 series Liquid Level Switch is a compact integral ultrasonic gap switch with all 316-SST Or Teflon Wetted parts.

It uses proven ultrasonic technology to operate in virtually any liquid regardless of viscosity. The JMS-100 utilizes a gap sensor with internal piezoelectric crystals to transmit and receive an ultrasonic signal. When liquid is present the ultrasonic signal is transmitted across the "gap" and sensed by the receiving crystal which in turn generates an electrical signal. The electronic module detects this change and produces a change in the DPDT output relay state or 4 mA dry, 20 mA wet output.

The JMS-100 consist of a 316-SST or Teflon sensor and an integral mini­turized, encapsulated electronics which is mounted in a cast aluminum, Explosion Proof, NEMA 4X enclosure.
